ALL RISK MORTALITY & THEFT and endorsements

Livestock Mortality Insurance is a form of term life insurance for valuable animals. The policy covers against loss by death from natural causes including death from sickness or disease, or accident, fire or lightning, occurring within the term of the policy. Emergency colic surgery expense coverage is included at no additional charge along with theft coverage (excluding straying or mysterious disappearance).

In addition to the standard mortality and theft policy endorsements for additional coverage may be purchased. These endorsements include:

Major Medical Endorsement
Major Medical Expense Coverage provides medical and surgical expenses of a veterinarian taking care of your horse when such expenses are a result of accident, injury, sickness or disease.

Limits of $5,000 and $7,500. are available.

Loss Of Use Endorsement
Loss of Use coverage pays should your horse become unfit for the use specified on the application and policy due to an accident, injury, sickness or disease. Limits and rates vary by company and our agents will advise you of the options available.

Stallion Infertility Endorsement
Provides coverage for permanent incapacity or inability to service mares or AI collections.

Restricted Perils Endorsement
Coverage is provided for loss caused by Fire; Lightning; Explosion; Smoke; Wind; Hail; Vehicles (not owned or operated by the insured); Riot; Aircraft; Flood; Earthquake; Electrocution; Drowning and Theft.
